Police Canine Suits being Cleaned Properly

SERVPRO of Brandywine / Wilmington partners with local police departments for cleaning/restoring training gear.  This week SERVPRO, using the patented “Esporta Wash and Sanitizing System”, cleaned some police canine training gear. These suits are designed to keep the wearer protected from bites from large dogs while performing necessary canine training.  Suits like these can pose quite a challenge.  Each suit has many layers of padding and cloth. They are soiled with dirt, grime, as well as animal saliva and fluids. SERVPRO of Brandywine / Wilmington must not only sanitize the material, but also protect the fabric from being damaged as well as not having any residual detergents that could harm the animal. After cleaning, each piece is hand dried without heat to ensure there is no shrinkage of the material. All of these pieces were properly cleaned and restored “Like it never even happened.”
