SERVPRO Rappelling Down 17 Stories

SERVPRO of Brandywine / Wilmington participates in local community events as much as possible. In this specific event called “Over the Edge”, we had our very own Carleen scale down a building. This event was a unique fundraiser to rappel down 17 stories- a whopping 222 feet! This event was designed to raise money and awareness for the Special Olympics Delaware. https://www.sode.org/ The event started in the morning and went all day long ending into the early evening. The event took place in downtown Wilmington on Delaware Avenue. This event was one of its kind in Delaware. This year, 2018, the event had 90 edgers and we help raise more than $125,000. This is the eighth year this event has taken place and this event over the eight years raised $1,021.00 total for the Special Olympics. We are proud to say we helped support the cause.
