Before and after of Soot Cleaning

Here are some pictures of soot from a fire that occurred on a stovetop. The homeowner had some cooking oil that caught fire.  It was a cooking fire and we were able to successfully remove the soot and save the cabinets. Saving the cabinets can save both the home owner and the insurance company money.  It can also help with the headache of replacing with new ones. We cannot always salvage cabinets but we sure do try. In some of the picture you can see the amount of soot that penetrated the surface of the cabinets. In some of the picture you can see the beautiful results.
